Chocolate isn’t the only delectable treat offered this Valentine’s Day. Wine Road members have plenty of sweet deals, some for the entire month of February.

Dinner with Your Sweetheart

Booking a Valentine’s dinner reservation isn’t always an easy decision, but I can help you find just the right dining experience along the Wine Road.

Fog Crest Vineyards is hosting an unforgettable candlelit evening of fine wines, gourmet food, and romance on February 14th starting at 6 p.m. Chef Barbara Hom will be the guest chef that evening, and she is creating an exquisite five-course extravaganza to pair with their wines. The evening begins with caviar and ends with chocolate . . . of course. Tickets are $200 per person, $180 for Wine Club members. Tickets include the opportunity to purchase a bottle of each of the dinner wines at 50% off. This is the Valentine’s dinner that keeps on giving.

On Saturday, February 10th from 6 – 9 p.m, Seghesio Family Vineyards offers an evening of love, laughter, and tasty provisions. Start the evening with a wine reception, then take your someone special by the hand and find your table where you’ll enjoy a delicious four-course dinner. This delectable meal, prepared by Chef Peter Janiak, seamlessly pairs with Seghesio’s Zinfandel and Italian varietal wines, including small-lot and library vintages. Tickets are limited and sell quickly, so don’t delay. Cost is $150 per person, $125 for Wine Club Members.

White Oak Winery is offering a Valentine’s Day Wine & Dine on February 16th from 6 – 9 p.m. This evening of romance begins in the tasting room with passed appetizers paired with their current release wines. Next, you’ll head into the transformed Barrel Room for a tantalizing dinner paired with their delicious estate wines. The cost is $110 per person, $95 for Club Members. On Saturday, February 10th from 6 – 9 p.m., Notre Vue Estate Winery & Vineyards will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a night of romantically inspired dishes perfectly paired with their estate wines. Winemaker Michael Westrick will be on hand to talk about how each course pairs with his wines, and share some inside stories as well. Whether you can visit the Wine Road during February, or just dream of the sun-filled days along the back roads, you can still purchase wine for your honey or yourself. Take advantage of the many Valentine’s wine specials being offered in February. Below are just a few of them.

Balletto Vineyards is offering Valentine’s gift sets, and while supplies last, you’ll receive a burlap bottle gift bag with the purchase of any wine.

Carol Shelton Wines is offering a 10% discount on orders of two bottles or more of the following wines when you use the promo code VALENTINE during the month of February.

If you’re feeling randy, Harvest Moon’s got just what you need. During the month of February, their Valentine’s Wine Special is the 2013 RandyZin at 50% off by the case. This delicious blend of 88% Zinfandel and 12% Sangiovese is the perfect Valentine’s gift, even if you are buying it for yourself. Normally at $384 per case, the “Randy” price is only $192 per case, which is a steal at $16 a bottle.

Ramazzotti Wines has a Be My ValenWine gift box on special until February 15th. This gift box includes one bottle each of their Brut Frizzante, Rosé of Zinfandel, and Rapport (think Port). A $95 value, this ValenWine special is $75, or $65 if you are a Ramazzotti Wine Club member.

On Valentine’s Day, February 14th, visit Rodney Strong Vineyards to enjoy 30% off their 2016 Rosé of Pinot Noir and receive a special treat with your Rosé purchase.

Tara Bella Winery is offering a spectacular price on their newly released Portal dessert wine. Buy six bottles of Portal, and receive two 7.25 oz. specialty glasses. This Valentine’s Special is $192 (regular price is $260, a $68 savings). Offer is available until March 31st.

Visit the Toad Hollow Vineyards tasting room on February 14th and receive a 2 for 1 tasting. Be sure to try their romantic bubblies, Amplexus and Risqué.

During the month of February, Woodenhead Winery is offering a terrific special on their Wet Kiss Naturale Brut Rosé. Buy one bottle and receive 20% off, buy 2 or more bottles and receive 25% off. Wine Club members receive 30% off this delightful sparkling wine. Offer ends on February 28th.

Sweet Deals on Lodgings, Too

Your romantic getaway needs to include lodging, so here are just a couple of specials being offered by Wine Road members.

The Hampton Inn & Suites in Windsor is offering 15% off all accommodations now through February 28th. Use the code 2699494 when booking your room. Be sure to ask them about their Notre Vue Estate Tour and Tasting, too.

If you’re looking for a countryside escape, check out the Raford Inn in Russian River Valley. Their “Get Away with the One You Love” includes chocolates and champagne at check-in, and add a second night to your stay and get 50% off that night. This offer is valid between February 11 – 16, 2018. Price per night ranges from $225 to $275.
