Dinner with Your Sweetheart
Booking a Valentine’s dinner reservation isn’t always an easy decision, but I can help you find just the right dining experience along the Wine Road.
Fog Crest Vineyards is hosting an unforgettable candlelit evening of fine wines, gourmet food, and romance on February 14th starting at 6 p.m. Chef Barbara Hom will be the guest chef that evening, and she is creating an exquisite five-course extravaganza to pair with their wines. The evening begins with caviar and ends with chocolate . . . of course. Tickets are $200 per person, $180 for Wine Club members. Tickets include the opportunity to purchase a bottle of each of the dinner wines at 50% off. This is the Valentine’s dinner that keeps on giving.
On Saturday, February 10th from 6 – 9 p.m, Seghesio Family Vineyards offers an evening of love, laughter, and tasty provisions. Start the evening with a wine reception, then take your someone special by the hand and find your table where you’ll enjoy a delicious four-course dinner. This delectable meal, prepared by Chef Peter Janiak, seamlessly pairs with Seghesio’s Zinfandel and Italian varietal wines, including small-lot and library vintages. Tickets are limited and sell quickly, so don’t delay. Cost is $150 per person, $125 for Wine Club Members.
White Oak Winery is offering a Valentine’s Day Wine & Dine on February 16th from 6 – 9 p.m. This evening of romance begins in the tasting room with passed appetizers paired with their current release wines. Next, you’ll head into the transformed Barrel Room for a tantalizing dinner paired with their delicious estate wines. The cost is $110 per person, $95 for Club Members. On Saturday, February 10th from 6 – 9 p.m., Notre Vue Estate Winery & Vineyards will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a night of romantically inspired dishes perfectly paired with their estate wines. Winemaker Michael Westrick will be on hand to talk about how each course pairs with his wines, and share some inside stories as well. Whether you can visit the Wine Road during February, or just dream of the sun-filled days along the back roads, you can still purchase wine for your honey or yourself. Take advantage of the many Valentine’s wine specials being offered in February. Below are just a few of them.
Balletto Vineyards is offering Valentine’s gift sets, and while supplies last, you’ll receive a burlap bottle gift bag with the purchase of any wine.
