Being a rookie at Wine Road, I’ve been blown away by the generous hospitality of every winery.  I’ve feel as if I’ve been inducted into a loving family, that of course has its differences once in a while, but at the end of the day everyone pours themselves a glass of wine and reflects on the lovely life living in Wine Country.

I was invited to experience the new Jordan Estate Vineyard and Garden Tour that included tastings of current releases and library wines paired with delicious little bites. Now, not being use to press treatment I was unaware of what to expect.

With that in mind, I found out later though that I was not given any special treatment whatsoever, not any more than anyone from the public could enjoy.  The sneak peak into the Jordan Estate is readily available for anyone to discover.

Driving up to the Jordan Estate was an adventure in itself. Winding the narrow driveway all the way to the top of the hill, I passed a jackrabbit and 4 different types of oak trees among other shrubbery.  This being the first time I have ever visited Jordan, I found what all the hype is about.  Beyond beautiful aesthetics, the Jordan crew is at home on this wonderfully relaxed setting.  I stumbled upon a group of employees laughing their head off and joyously inviting me to join them.  Everyone wears jeans and a comfortable Jordan vest living the actual Jordan experience that everyone talks about.
