Winter WINELand 2016 is all about shaking off the January blues, having some winter fun, and saving on wine, logo items, and even the cost of shipping.

This 24th annual mid-January wine event (Jan. 16-17, 2016) is a great weekend to escape along the Wine Road and enjoy yourself after the holiday season has passed. More than 120 participating wineries will be pouring current release wines, while some will have library wines and at least one will also have barrel samples for you to try. At some wineries, you’ll also have the chance to meet the winemaker and/or owner as they pour and talk about their wines. Every winery will have special pricing on either wines or logo items, while some will have both on sale. Plus several wineries will be offering discounts on shipping as well.

Though not a food event, you’ll find a few of the wineries will also be serving delicious nibbles paired with their wines. We recommend you either pack a picnic lunch, or bring some snacks along to munch on in between winery stops. Remember the best way to enjoy the entire day of tasting is to make sure you eat during the tasting hours and to stay well hydrated—try to drink a glass of water after each winery.
