Ever wish the Wine Road could be mobile and come to you? Well, maybe in 2018 it will.

Every year a number of Wine Road wineries attend various tastings and festivals through the United States. Granted, most are along the West Coast, but not all of them. Over the next six months you’ll have at least four opportunities to taste along the Wine Road in four different cities.

Rancho Mirage – February 17th

Just days from now, 14 Wine Road wineries will be traveling to Rancho Mirage to pour at the Rancho Mirage Wine & Food Festival. One of the premier wine and food events in the Greater Palm Spring area, this festival includes over 50 wineries, 20 incredible eateries, and live music. Plus, there is a fabulous silent auction, with 100% of the proceeds used to support local charities.

If you live near Rancho Mirage or are vacationing in the greater Palm Springs area, seriously consider attending this guaranteed-to-be-fun event. Tickets are still available online. Even if you came to Sonoma County for the weekend, you wouldn’t have time to visit all 14 of these wineries*, making this a great find.

San Diego – April 14th

If you live in the San Diego area and love wine, you are probably already familiar with the VinDiego Wine & Food Festival. Billed as San Diego’s classiest wine festival, it promises to be a true connoisseurs delight. This festival brings together wineries, local restaurants, and fabulous musicians to provide hours of festive entertainment. A contingent from the Wine Road will be attending again this year, and will be ready to pour their stellar wines for you.

VinDiego is from 3 – 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 14th at Liberty Station in Point Loma. Tickets are available online.

Monterey – June 9th & 10th

Who doesn’t enjoy a weekend in Monterey? Now toss in a wine festival, and you’ve got the perfect getaway. Or, if you live in the area, lucky you!

The Monterey Wine Festival is hosting their 42nd annual event, so you know they are doing something right. The theme for the 2018 festival is “Where Wonderful Views Collide with Legendary Wines.” Sounds irresistible.

This wine festival also showcases the winners of the Monterey Wine Festival’s Judging. In 2017, many of the Wine Road wineries won medals, and then poured those wines during the festival. This year, you can again expect to see many Wine Road wineries pouring their winners at the festival.

Cleveland, Ohio – June 24th

You read that correctly. The Wine Road will be joining forces with the Ohio Wines Association and Ohio Tourism Board for a Cleveland Wine Festival. Details are still being sorted out, but everyone from the Wine Road is excited about the chance to pour their wines to wine lovers in Ohio. Stay tuned for details.
